Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UT Dallas Student Health Center feels it is in the best interest of students to keep their UTSHIP coverage. Please note, UTSHIP carriers are not able to terminate coverage or issue refunds, especially mid-semester. BCBS has a worldwide network, and students covered by BCBS under UTSHIP can use the insurance benefits anywhere they are located. Medical costs related to COVID-19 are covered at 100 percent, and students still have access to all other benefits as listed in the UTSHIP brochure.

The Student Health Insurance office manages the UT Student Health Insurance Plan (UT SHIP) for UT Dallas, provides confidential claims advising services, and serves as an information resource regarding local healthcare providers.
